In 2006 I was diagnosed with Celiac disease and intolerances to dairy and soy. Growing up in Atlanta, the food here will forever be in my heart. I will never forget the tastes of the four cheese rigatoni at Highland Tap, a giant slice of pepperoni pizza at Felini’s, the cheesy burgers at Moe’s and Joe’s, a naked dog and frosted orange at the Varsity and so much more. While I might not be able to enjoy those foods anymore, there’s still so much out there that is just as delicious. With this blog I hope to show how those with food intolerances can still fully enjoy amazing food.
Please note I have a stricter diet than most which I follow on my doctor’s recommendations and how my body responds. I do not consume any grain alcohols even though some say they are gluten free. I also stay away from quinoa and other grains that are recommended as gluten free.
